Take it from me. I’ve done them all 🤷‍♀️⁣

But here’s the deal. Nature communication isn’t passive.⁣
⁣
You can’t lay on a yoga mat and hope that the Spirits of the Land will drop nuggets of wisdom into your brain.⁣
⁣
It’s a two way communication, just like talking to a friend. Or your pets.⁣
⁣
In order to get the conversation going, you have to invite them to join you.⁣
⁣
Once they do, you need to learn to trust the information that comes through. Sometimes it might be confusing or not make sense at first, but just write it down and figure it out later.⁣
⁣
That being said, discernment is super important in the middle world (where the nature spirits live, along with us) because there’s more than just benevolent spirits roaming the earth. ⁣
⁣
Check your gut. Does this seem like an energy that’s connected to source that you’re talking to?⁣
⁣
You can always say no to any requests. Don’t forget your free will.⁣
⁣
And finally, the fastest way to begin validating the info you’re getting and develop your skills is to work in community with others!⁣
⁣

I’ve been searching my brain, trying to remember

I’ve been searching my brain, trying to remember where in my travels I have seen living water bubbling up from the Earth before I arrived in Arkansas.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I’ve been to countless hot springs, both wild and developed.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And I’ve collected cold spring water in jars and bottles for years.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
But in every instance I can remember, the source of the water was obscured.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
There’s always been pipes or faucets or fences between me and the spring.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
But not here in Arkansas.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
There’s water EVERYWHERE.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Much of it is still hidden behind fences and walls and faucets and pipes, but you don’t have to look that hard to find wild water.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Last weekend, I went to visit the Blue Spring in Eureka Springs and there’s a spot there to put your bare feet into the water.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I can’t even explain the instant feeling of grounding and pure joy I felt the moment my feet hit the water.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
It was a deep connection, not only to the water and to my own ancestral memory bank, but also to the generations of humans who have visited this spot and refreshed themselves on a hot day just like I was doing.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
This weekend, I ventured out with a few friends to the town of Cave Springs.⁣
⁣
It might be the most natural spring setting I’ve experienced with the spring bubbling up from beneath the cave before spilling out into a very unnatural concrete lined stream.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Vibes were so good, I could have spent the entire day there.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The energy was off the charts amazing.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The water was so perfect and clear.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The spirits there wanted us to.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
And THIS is how we’re supposed to feel in nature.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
When I see the look on people’s faces when they interact with real, live water, I realize how much we’re deeply missing this experience in our modern lives.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We come alive in places like this and remember why they were once considered holy.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
If you’re lucky enough to have a spring nearby, go experience it. Even if it’s flowing from a pipe.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Bring it offerings.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Share your gratitude.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Protect it at all costs.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
We can’t let the things we have that remind us what it’s really like to be a human here on Earth to slip away.

This is how I start every shamanic journey in the Earth Tenders Academy 🤣⁣

After we ground, connect to source and set our intentions, I always imagine that we float up through the ceiling and into the clouds, flying in the direction of the property we will be doing healing work with. ⁣
⁣
Once we touch down on the street in front of the house, we connect with the Spirits of the Land there and our work begins. ⁣
⁣
